The Story of Abacus Themes
Redmine is one of the best open-source project management apps, but the default look leaves a lot to be desired.
In 2014, we set out to change that, and so we created Abacusmine, the first commercial Redmine theme ever. Having worked at Easy Redmine, Michael utilized his extensive experience with the Redmine ecosystem to create a powerful new UI and the first mobile-ready Redmine experience. Michael was also responsible for the 2012 Easy Redmine design, created as part of his thesis.
Our goal is simple. We want to make your work in Redmine easier. Our theme provides companies & individuals the best possible Redmine experience at a reasonable price. Moreover, we're giving our users a contemporary look without the need for a painful software change or disruptive data migration to a hosted Redmine provider.
To achieve that goal, we are constantly improving the theme, extending the functionality of Abacusmine, and adding support for new plugins. Our small team of three is here for you: Michael takes care of design & coding, Marketa is running the support and Sven is taking care of Redmine servers.
